STREETSCAPE PROGRESS UPDATES
Recent Funding:
We've secured a $1 million grant from the State of California, currently awaiting fund distribution.
$20,000 grant received from the County Supervisor’s office.
$950,000 pledged from grants and individual donors.
Project Timeline:
First Stage: Construction on Girard Avenue from Prospect to Wall Street is set to begin in January 2025 and conclude in May 2025, minimizing disruption.
Second Stage: The following segment, from Wall Street to Silverado Street, will start in September 2025 or January 2026.
Construction Logistics:
We are pleased to report that the project has passed all city requirements for a permit.
The City of San Diego has issued a PIC number and assigned a project manager to assist us moving forward.
