We hope this message finds you and your families well. We are pleased to share several updates on the progress of the Village Streetscape Plan.
Warwick’s Gives To The Streetscape Plan Again!
WARWICK’S to donate 20% of the sale of Paul McCartney's signed, limited, deluxe edition of “1964: Eyes of the Storm,” to the Village Streetscape Plan. The book is one of 175 copies worldwide, with only 11 copies available in California. The book will be up for auction, June 2–9.
LJCF Highlights Village Streetscape Plan at Enhance La Jolla Day
During the third annual Enhance La Jolla Day on May 13, the La Jolla Community Foundation (LJCF) shared information about the Village Streetscape Plan with community members and participating community organizations. Councilmember Joe LaCava and Ed Witt, Chair of Enhance La Jolla, welcomed the public and remarked on the accomplishments of Enhance La Jolla and the partnership with the La Jolla Community Foundation for the implementation of the Village Streetscape Plan.
501(c)(3) nonprofit
La Jolla Community Foundation (LJCF) has received an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit status from the Internal Revenue Service. Established in 2008, the LJCF operated as an affiliate of the San Diego Foundation (SDF). The independent entity status will allow the foundation to be more responsive to the needs of La Jolla.
LJCF appoints Lidia Rossner as Executive Director
“To lead the next chapter of the organization, Lidia’s personal attributes and demonstrated success in strategic communications make her the ideal person to thoughtfully manage change and develop forward-thinking, innovative programs with creativity and enthusiasm,” said Phyllis Pfeiffer, board chair and publisher of the La Jolla Light.
