Dear Members and Friends of the La Jolla Community Foundation,

We hope this message finds you and your families well. Your continued support is instrumental in the success of this project, and we are grateful for the collaborative spirit driving the Streetscape plan to fruition. Together, we are building a legacy that will enhance our community for generations to come.

Your Support Matters | Thanks to your generous individual giving, grants, and corporate support, we've made significant strides, approaching the halfway mark toward our fundraising goal. Our dedicated team has been advancing on multiple fronts to turn this project into a reality. With your help, we can do this! The project still needs your support. Please consider making a tax-deductible year-end contribution to the La Jolla Community Foundation.

If you have any questions or would like to get involved, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to connecting with you!

With heartfelt appreciation for your ongoing support,

Phyllis Pfeiffer, Chair

Lidia Rossner, Executive director

As we continue this transformative journey, we are pleased to unveil Naming Opportunities, providing a unique chance for you to make a lasting impact on the Streetscape Project. Please take a moment to explore the possibilities.

As recognition for contributions made to the Streetscape project, the LJCF will install a personalized plaque onto a bench, tree, corner park, or donor recognition wall. Below are the contribution amounts for each option:

  • Endow a Tree: $25,000

  • Adopt-A-Bench: $50,000

  • Donor Recognition Wall: $100,000 +

  • Dedicate a Corner Park: $250,000

  • Dedicate a Park Plaza: $500,000

The naming opportunity program provides funding to maintain and endow the care of the benches, trees, and corner parks along Girard Avenue. For more information please contact Lidia Rossner at 858-257-7100 or lrossner@ljcommunityfoundation.org.

STREETSCAPE PROGRESS UPDATES

A structural engineer has joined the project team, bringing expertise to the design and implementation of key installations. The architects and civil engineers are working with the City of San Diego on permit reviews and requirements to seamlessly integrate the planned infrastructure improvements with city regulations. We are actively pursuing additional grants to advance infrastructure improvements, particularly focusing on the installation of stormwater drains and light fixtures along Girard Avenue.

THANK YOU WARWICK’S for another generous donation to Streetscape!

A heartfelt thank you to Warwick’s for their continued generosity and support of the Streetscape Project! Once again, Warwick’s has proven to be the heart of our community, demonstrating a commitment to making our neighborhood thrive. Warwick’s exemplifies the spirit of community collaboration, and we are honored to have such a dedicated and community-minded partner. THANK YOU!
